Refund policy
At The Vanillé Līf, each product is handcrafted, quality-checked, and sealed with care. Because our body butters are personal, skin-contact products, we follow strict hygiene and safety standards. Please review the policy below before placing an order.
Eligibility for Refunds or Replacements
We accept replacement or refund requests only in the following cases:
- The product received is damaged, leaked, or broken
- The incorrect product was delivered
- The product has a manufacturing defect
- The product has expired at the time of delivery
Requests must be raised within 24 hours of delivery.
To process your request, we require:
- Name, Ph. No/email id and Order ID
- Clear images AND an unboxing video showing the issue
- A brief description of the concern
Requests raised beyond this window or without supporting evidence may not be accepted.
Products Not Eligible for Return or Refund
Due to the hygienic and intimate nature of body care products, we do not accept returns, replacements, or refunds for:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Dislike of fragrance, texture, or formulation
- Skin sensitivity, irritation, or allergic reactions
- Products that have been opened, used, or partially used
- Orders placed incorrectly by the customer
- Returned without original packaging, including price tags, labels, freebies, and other accessories or if original packaging is damaged.
We strongly recommend conducting a patch test before the full application. Individual skin responses may vary, and this does not indicate a product defect.
Replacement & Refund Process
- If your body butter arrives damaged, leaked, or with an issue, we’ll first offer you a replacement or store credit.
- We don’t do direct exchanges (like swapping one product for another on request).
- A refund is only issued if we’re unable to send a replacement for any reason (for example, the product is out of stock).
- All refunds are processed only through Cashfree modes to the original prepaid payment method used at checkout.
- We currently do not offer Cash on Delivery (COD).
- Once approved, refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
